Allison Lorimer

Allison has been affiliated with The Education Group since 1994. Her beginnings at the firm encompassed teacher recruitment and placement. Years of contact with school administrators have kept Allison in tune with the needs of independent schools and the people who work in them.
Since 2001, Allison has led the firm as Director of Placement working with schools across the nation in their hiring needs. As a natural extension of her contact with aspiring and sitting school administrators, Allison also leads retained searches for Heads of School, mid-level administrators, and master teachers.
A graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Allison has worked in both the business world and independent schools. Although her original career was in the area of corporate marketing, her interest in music and the arts led her into teaching. Allison has been board president of Preston Hollow Presbyterian School, held leadership positions in conferences, committees and other boards. Personally, Allison is a Presbyterian elder, Musikgarten professional, and church musician.
