Returning to Catholic Education and Leadership

Dr. Lisa Williams, who previously worked in Catholic schools, has returned to Catholic education as the principal of All Saints Catholic School in Far North Dallas. She was initially employed in Catholic schools in Louisiana, California, Las Vegas, and St. Louis before relocating to Texas when her husband was transferred. Williams had been teaching humanities at Plano's Vines High but was drawn back to Catholic education when she learned about the principal vacancy at All Saints.

With experience as an assistant principal at Ursuline Academy in St. Louis, she found her comfort zone in Catholic education and is excited about her new role. Williams has a background in education, holding bachelor's degrees in English education and religious studies from LSU and master's and doctorate degrees in educational leadership from St. Louis University.

She takes charge of All Saints Catholic School, serving students from Pre-K through 8th grade, with a similar scope to her previous school in St. Louis. Williams is impressed by the school's strong commitment to its Catholic identity and the community's faith-centered approach to education. She appreciates the family-oriented and community-oriented atmosphere, where faith development is a central focus. Despite the Texas summer heat, which she's experienced in Las Vegas and Palm Springs, Williams is excited to be back in Catholic education and finds the faith-based environment comfortable and welcoming.
